5-30-16 VERMONT: Judy has been here for the long weekend, arriving Wednesday, and it’s been a social whirl since. We have seen, in no particular order—Ken, Jane, Phyllis, Lily, Sam, Debbie, Bob, Nate, Janet, Bill, Steve, Diana, Gillian, Craig, Dave, Shari and others.
I have continued to do yard stuff, repairing screen doors, repairing an outside rocker, cleaning the culvert, putting up the tomato cages. Brady the horse has taken up summer residence in the pasture. Josh may bring some heifers to summer in the pasture also.
We go back to NJ tomorrow and then come back here for Lily’s graduation in two weeks.
New blooms: geranium, Veronica, Jacob’s ladder, Siebold viburnum, nannyberry viburnum, sweet woodruff, honey suckle bush, yellow lady’s slipper, burning bush, more azaleas.
Yellow Lady's Slipper by the edge of the pond, donated by Melissa.
Jacob's ladder has made a home in the herb garden.
After dinner with Lily at Candelaria, thanks to Sam for manning the iPhone.
