Hydrangea Heaven.

7-8-15 SHORT HILLS: Yesterday’s drive to NJ was uneventful except for an intense T-storm in Danbury, CT. I have been complaining about the cold in VT, no more, after yesterday in NJ. It was 91° and humid, today is only 88°, but a big wet, black cloud just slid in.

The yard seems quite happy with the conditions. The lawn is full and the bald spots and holes are closing up. The shrubs are in lush, summer mode.

New blooms: tree hydrangea, another St. John’s wort, butterfly bush.

Hydrangea in blue.

....Purple...

...Red...[pink, magenta, violet??]

Tree hydrangea in white.

Southern Magnolia also in white.

Butterfly bush, the butterflies haven't noticed yet.
